Evergreen, CO · Built for the next outage

Wildfire, winter, PSPS — Evergreen needs to be ready before it gets here.

Evergreen is no longer a place where homes, restaurants, or businesses can assume the grid stays up. We design end-to-end readiness for residences, ranches, restaurants, offices, and commercial properties: power, internet, comms, and a real plan.

A generator on its own isn't a plan. We build the whole system.

The last few years have rewritten the rules in Evergreen. Wildfire scares, blizzards that drop trees on power lines, planned PSPS shutoffs during high-wind days. Readiness isn't one piece of gear — for a home, a working ranch, or an Evergreen business, it's power + internet + comms + monitoring + a runbook your family or staff can actually follow.

Power that's tested, not assumed

Generator service, fuel reserve, transfer switch verification, load testing. We measure what actually carries your house, not what the spec sheet promises.

Resilient comms

Starlink as a backup ISP, dual-WAN with automatic failover, satellite messengers (Garmin inReach, Zoleo) for when even cellular dies.

Property monitoring during evac

Cameras + remote door locks tied to backup power so you can verify the property and let first responders or family in remotely.

Family / staff runbook

Documented startup procedure, kill-switch locations, and a one-page evacuation or shelter-in-place cheat sheet specific to your home or business. Printed, laminated, on the fridge or in the back office.

Lighting & egress

Battery-backed exit lighting, UPS for the modem and Wi-Fi, and emergency lighting kits for outbuildings, basements, and commercial back-of-house.

Annual readiness check

Once a year we come out and run the whole system: start the generator, fail over the internet, test the cameras, refresh batteries. Sign-off + report.

What 'ready' actually means in the foothills

Wildfire / red-flag days

PSPS shutoffs during Evergreen's high-wind events are now routine. We size generator runtime, confirm fuel reserve, and run an automatic-failover internet plan so homes can stay informed and businesses can keep operating when the grid is dark for 48 hours.

Winter storm scenarios

Lines down, plows behind, batteries cold. Our checklist covers cold-weather generator priming, well-pump load testing, and heat-tape circuits so frozen plumbing doesn't compound an outage.

Evacuation readiness

Remote video confirmation, smart-lock unlock for first responders, and a documented gas/water/HVAC shutoff procedure. We pre-stage what you need before alerts land.

Insurance, HOA & business continuity

Many residential and commercial policies now reward documented backup-power and monitoring systems. We provide install certificates, runbooks, and photographs for your insurer, HOA, or business-continuity plan.

Don't wait for the next red-flag day.
